FA Cup quarter-final draw: Arsenal will play a home tie against Everton in the last eight

Arsena will take on Everton in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after the sixth-round draw was made on Sunday.

The Gunners beat Liverpool 2-1 at Emirates Stadium on Sunday to be rewarded with a home tie against Roberto Martinez’s Toffees.

Elsewhere, Manchester City were pitted against holder Wigan Athletic in a repeat of last season’s final. The Citizens progress through to the last eight thanks to a comfortable 2-0 win over Chelsea.

Sunderland, who beat Southampton 1-0 on Saturday, will travel to either Brighton or Hull in the last eight.

Meanwhile, the quarter-finals could throw up a Steel City derby, with Sheffield United or Nottingham Forest drawn at home to Sheffield Wednesday or Charlton Athletic.

All of the FA Cup quarter-final ties will be played on the weekend of 8 and 9 March 2014.
