Fernando Torres singles out Samuel Eto'o for praise ahead of Chelsea's clash with Galatasaray
Fernando Torres has singled out Samuel Eto’o for special praise by describing the striker as a “genius” ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Galatasaray.
The Cameroon international has netted six Premier League goals and made two assists since moving to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Torres, meanwhile, has managed just four league goals after being restricted to 11 starts in the English top flight this term.
And the Spaniard was full of praise for his fellow Chelsea team-mate for the impact he has had since arriving at the club.
“Jose Mourinho has shown that everybody will get a chance and we’ve all been through the same thing. He likes to rotate the squad and shake up the team depending on the opposition,” Torres told Marca.
“It’s great, [Eto’o is] a genius. He’s doing what he’s always done, scoring goals.”
