Liverpool squad strong enough to see out the season, says Simon Mignolet
Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet believes the Reds squad is sufficiently strong to see out the remainder of the season

Simon Mignolet believes Liverpool’s squad is sufficiently strong to get the Reds over the line in the race for a top-four finish.
Brendan Rodgers has extracted the full potential from his available players this season amid the prolonged absences of Jose Enrique, Lucas Leiva and Mamadou Sakho through injury.
I’m sure we’ve got the squad to get through the last games of the season

And Liverpool goalkeeper Mignolet believes Daniel Agger and Glen Johnson’s return from injury has provided the Reds with a boost as the season reaches its climax.
“Every single individual in the squad is very important for us. We’re happy that Dan and Johnno came back into the squad at the weekend,” Mignolet told Liverpool’s website.
“Lucas and Mama are working really hard to get back, with the others as well. I’m sure we’ve got the squad to get through the last games of the season.”
With talk of a potential title bid, Mignolet urged fourth-placed Liverpool not to get carried away and approach the remainder of the season one game at a time.
“We just have to look at the games we play. We don’t really have to think about what other teams have to do or who other teams have to play.
“We just have to prepare ourselves for our own games – I’m sure that we will do that. Like I’ve said on numerous occasions, it’s not about thinking what’s going to happen at the end of the season.
“We’ve got Southampton at the weekend and we’re focusing on that. The next game is the most important one, not what’s coming after that. We’ll focus ourselves on that single game.”
