Wenger gives latest Arsenal injury update ahead of Liverpool clash
Jack Wilshere in line to return to the Arsenal starting line-up for Saturday's trip to Liverpool, says Arsene Wenger

Jack Wilshere could make a return from an ankle injury when Arsenal travel to Liverpool on Saturday, Arsene Wenger has revealed.
The 22-year-old midfielder has not featured for the Gunners since 18 January but is in line to return to Wenger’s side for the trip to Anfield.

Wenger also confirmed that midfielder Mikel Arteta is fully fit after the Spaniard picked up a minor knock in the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.
“The team news are basically similar to the squad that was available in our last game against Crystal Palace,” Wenger told a news conference on Thursday.
“We might have Wilshere back and that’s basically it. Mikel Arteta is alright.”
Arsenal head into the clash two points clear at the top of the Premier League and the Frenchman is keen for the north Londoners to seize a good chance to underline their title credentials.
“It is a good opportunity [and] moment for us to win a big game because we have a tough predicted month,” said Wenger. “I think we are on a good run and the best way is to continue that and keep the confidence level high.
“When you’re in a good position to fight for something, of course the closer you get to the end, every game becomes vital. It’s a massive month for us.
“We fought very hard to be in this position. Let’s enjoy it and give out best.”
