Bayern Munich 1 Arsenal 1: Lukas Podolski believes that the Gunners were let down by a poor first-half display
Lukas Podolski felt that Arsenal’s first-half performance “wasn’t good enough” after the Gunners were knocked out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich.
With Arsenal trailing 2-0 from the first leg, Bastian Schweinsteiger gave Bayern the lead from close range at the Allianz Arena before Podolski shot high into the net to level the score on the night.

And the Arsenal forward claimed that the north Londoners were let down by a poor first-half showing.
“We can take a lot of confidence but in the end we lost, we are out, so we know look forward to the Premier League and FA Cup,” Podolski told Sky Sports.
“We fought until the end, we played a good second half but in the end it was not enough to get through to the next round.
