Liverpool made a blistering start as Tottenham centre-half Younes Kaboul deflected the ball into his own net after a testing cross from Reds full-back Glen Johnson.
Of course [we can win the title]. We are all dreaming of winning the Premier League one day

Luis Suarez capitalised on a sloppy Michael Dawson pass to double the home side’s lead before half-time, with Philippe Coutinho drilling a low finish past Hugo Lloris in the 55th minute.
Spurs rarely tested Reds shot stopper Simon Mignolet, and Liverpool midfielder Henderson polished off an emphatic victory and sent his side to the top of the table with a fizzed free-kick which crept into the Spurs net.
“Of course [we can win the title]. We are all dreaming of winning the Premier League one day,” Henderson told Sky Sports.
“We’ve got a chance. But at the same time, we’ve just go to take each game as it comes. Our next game is at West Ham and it’s going to be difficult.”
He added: “We knew today was important to get three points but we’ve got to focus on what we’ve been doing of late. We’ve got to keep going and working hard and we got our just reward.”
Henderson also paid credit to the Liverpool supporters who played their part as the Reds made a rapid start to the clash as Brendan Rodgers’s moved two points clear of second-placed Chelsea.
“The crowd were outstanding again straightaway from the off. We’ve got good togetherness and we knew we had to start really well because we’ve being doing that a lot recently,” he added.
“We pressed high and tried to get the ball back as quickly as possible and thankfully it worked.”
Henderson added that he was claiming Liverpool’s fourth goal after his free-kick beat everybody in the Tottenham area.
“Luis said he didn’t touch it so I’m claiming that one – I don’t get many!”
