Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski hopes their 3-1 aggregate loss to Bayern Munich can inspire Gunners to silverware

Lukasz Fabianski hopes Arsenal’s Champions League exit can prompt the Gunners to raise their performances in the final games of the season.
Arsene Wenger’s men suffered a 3-1 aggregate loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League last 16 on Tuesday night, with the Gunners left in the FA Cup and Premier League.
We are still competing for the title, we are still competing for the FA Cup so hopefully it will give us a massive boost for the rest of the season

Arsenal lost to Bayern in Europe last season before stringing a run of results together that resulted in the north London side securing a fourth-place finish on the final day of the campaign.
And Fabianski, who deputised for the suspended Wojciech Szczesny, is adamant that the Gunners are relishing the season run-in.
“Hopefully it will give us the same as it gave us last season where we went on a really good run,” said Fabianski.
“We are still competing for the title, we are still competing for the FA Cup so hopefully it will give us a massive boost for the rest of the season.
“I think [the confidence from this performance] is crucial for every player. All the players were disappointed we couldn’t get the result we wanted but on the other hand they didn’t beat us.
“Maybe the first half was more for them but the second half I think they had chances, we had chances and it was more open. I think you could see they were nervous until the last few minutes of the game so you can see that we showed our pride. We are looking forward to the final games of the season.”
