Petr Cech: Chelsea aren’t biggest favourites in Premier League title race

Petr Cech has reiterated that Chelsea aren’t favourites in the Premier League title race.

The Blues extended their lead to four points at the top of the Premier League table thanks to their 3-1 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

Liverpool moved into second place after Arsenal were surprise losers at Stoke City, with Manchester City having two games in hand after their League Cup triumph.

And Chelsea goalkeeper Cech still believes Manuel Pellegrini’s men are the overwhelming favourites to lift the Premier League trophy at the end of the season.

“We are top of the table because Manchester City are two games behind,” Cech told Pravo.

“If they win them, then they will be ahead of us due to the more number of goals scored.

“We are not the biggest favourites but we want to win the league and we will be fighting for it. There are still 10 games left.”

Chelsea face Tottenham Hotspur in next Saturday’s London derby at Stamford Bridge.
