Ray Parlour backs Arsenal to end trophy drought with FA Cup

Ray Parlour believes that Arsenal have what it takes to end their nine-year wait for a trophy by winning the FA Cup this season.
The Gunners booked their place in the semi-finals of the competition with a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Everton at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
You have to fancy Arsenal now, especially at Wembley
Arsene Wenger’s men then saw their hopes of winning the trophy boosted as Manchester City were beaten 2-1 by Championship side Wigan Athletic on Sunday to set up a clash with the Gunners.
Arsenal would face Hull City or Sheffield United in the final should they manage to beat Wigan in their last-four clash.
And former Gunners midfielder Parlour is convinced that the north Londoner can go all the way in this season’s competition.
“Arsenal have a fantastic chance now,” Parlour told talkSPORT.
“With Sunday’s shock, Wigan beating Man City, it gives them a very good opportunity. Wigan are a very good side this year. Uwe Rosler has got them playing very well.
“You have to fancy Arsenal now though, especially at Wembley. It’s a big pitch and I think they’ve got a great chance.”
