Cazorla, who was joined by Aaron Ramsey and Gedion Zelalem in committing his future to the club, has emerged as a key player for Arsenal since making the switch to the Premier League, scoring 18 goals in 84 appearances in all competitions.

And the 29-year-old is hoping to add more good memories to the special moments that he has experienced in his Arsenal career so far.

“I think that we can be a big player in competing for the top trophies in years to come and that’s important for me,” Cazorla told Arsenal’s website.

“I have already had lots of good moments here and hopefully there will be many more to come.

“One of the main reasons for coming here was to get better as a player and joining Arsenal has definitely made me a better player.”
