Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is excited by the prospect of facing his former club in New York this summer
Thierry Henry has spoken of his excitement after Arsenal confirmed a pre-season friendly against the Frenchman’s New York Red Bulls this summer.
The Gunners have confirmed that they will face the Major League Soccer side in July as the north London side prepare for the new Premier League campaign.

It will provide Arsenal, who are currently fourth in the table, with the chance to come up against their record goal-scorer and former Gunners captain Henry at Red Bull Arena.
“It goes without saying that hosting Arsenal at Red Bull Arena will be a special moment for me both on a professional and personal level,” Henry said.
“As I have said before, the club is in my heart and this will be another terrific chapter in my relationship with Arsenal Football Club.
“Along with my team-mates, I am excited to host Arsenal in New York – one of the greatest cities in the world – and hope that Red Bulls and Arsenal fans will be able to enjoy the match.”
