Tottenham 0 Arsenal 1: Tim Sherwood insists that his Spurs side did not deserve to lose to the Gunners
Tim Sherwood insisted that his Tottenham side did not deserve to lose to Arsenal in Sunday’s north London derby.
Tomas Rosicky’s thunderous strike after just 72 seconds earned a victory which kept the Gunners in the hunt for the Premier League title.

Despite falling behind so early on, Spurs dominated proceedings for much of the game and enjoyed 59 per cent possession at White Hart Lane.
And although Sherwood was bitterly disappointed by the result, the Tottenham manager took heart from his side’s battling display.
“First and foremost, I wanted the performance. We got that but we didn’t get the result,” Sherwood told BBC Sport.
“The fans won’t be happy with that but anyone who has seen that performance will know we didn’t deserve to lose.
“We were better than them. We played well, on the front foot and defended together.
“The goal was a wonder-strike, I’m willing him [Rosicky] to shoot from there but he sticks it right in the top corner. There’s nothing we can do about that.
“But no one can say that we deserved to lose that game.”
The defeat left Tottenham fifth in the Premier League table and nine points behind Arsenal having played a game less than the Gunners.
