Arsenal transfers: Gunners suffer fresh setback in Julian Draxler pursuit
Arsenal transfers: Julian Draxler's agent says that his client is highly unlikely to leave Schalke this summer

Arsenal have suffered a blow to their hopes of signing Julian Draxler this summer after the player’s agent said a move is highly unlikely.
The Gunners were heavily linked with a big-money swoop to sign the Schalke playmaker during the January transfer window, but a move failed to materialise.
It has since inevitably been reported that the north London club could be set to return with a fresh bid to lure the 20-year-old to Emirates Stadium in the summer.
However, Draxler’s agent Roger Wittman has poured cold water on speculation that his client could leave the Bundesliga side at the end of the season.
“Why should a player leave the club if the club have just built a top team?” Wittman told SportBild.de.
“I also think it’s good if players stick to what they have signed.
“It would take an awful lot to happen for one of the two of them to leave. And even then I’m not sure it would be possible.
“The players understand that there is currently a lot of peace at the club and a lot of optimism about their future there.”
