Arsenal transfers: ‘Gunners to sign Josip Drmic this summer’
Arsenal transfers: Lothar Matthaus once again insists that Josip Drmic is on the verge of singing for the Gunners

Lothar Matthaus has once again insisted that Arsenal are on the verge of signing Nuremberg striker Josip Drmic this summer.
The Gunners have been linked with a swoop for the 21-year-old forward in recent months as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his strikeforce, and Matthaus suggested back in March that a deal had already been done.
I’m saying: Josip Drmic will switch to Arsenal

The player himself played down the speculation, insisting reports that his wife had been house-hunting in London were untrue as he was single.
However, Matthaus has once again insisted that Drmic, who has scored 16 goals and made three assists in 31 Bundesliga games this season, is on the verge of moving to Emirates Stadium.
“Although now Dortmund, Gladbach and Leverkusen all have an interest. I’m saying: Josip Drmic will switch to Arsenal,” Matthaus told Swiss newspaper Blick.
“I made a mistake. I said his wife was already looking for apartments. The fact is that this is his girlfriend. Drmic has had a girlfriend for nine months. She has lived five or six months with him in Nuremberg.
“Look, if a journalist hears something, he researched and wrote that then its true. I’m kind of a journalist and have heard the rumour of a move to Arsenal. I then found out that this is true.”
