Arsenal transfers: Lukas Podolski won't rule out the possibility of returning to his former club Cologne

Lukas Podolski has refused to rule out the possibility of leaving Arsenal to return to his former club Cologne in the future.
The Germany international, who has scored eight goals in 17 Premier League appearances this season, moved to north London from his boyhood club in 2012 in a £11m deal.

And the 28-year-old admits that he would be open to a move back to the Bundesliga in years to come.
“The Bundesliga is one of the best leagues in the world and therefore, in principle, is always interesting,” Podolski told Transfermarkt.
“In the Bundesliga, my thoughts naturally turn first to [Koln]. That is much more than a club for me, this is my home. Maybe I’ll return one day; that is, for me, always an option and matter of the heart.
“[I have an Arsenal contract] which I would also like to fulfil.
“But, as I said, you never know in football. Sometimes everything happens very quickly.”
