The 27-year-old Reds forward won the award ahead of team-mates Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge, as well as Eden Hazard, Yaya Toure and Adam Lallana.
Suarez has scored 30 Premier League goals this season in 31 games, as well as notching up 12 assists for his team-mates.
And Arsenal midfielder Ramsey feels that the Uruguay international fully deserves the prestigious prize.
“His quality is there for everybody to see,” Ramsey told Sky Sports News. “He’s just a magnificent player.
“When you think he missed the first five or so games of the season and to score the amount of goals that he has. He’s one of those strikers who loves to work hard as well and work for the team.”
