Liverpool will have a really good chance of winning the Premier League title if the Reds beat Manchester City on Sunday.

Brendan Rodgers’s men have the opportunity to move seven points clear of third-placed City, who have played two games less than the current leaders.

Liverpool also face Chelsea and Newcastle United at Anfield, with tricky trips to relegation fighting Norwich City and Crystal Palace in their remaining games.

And the Uruguay international, who has scored 29 Premier League goals this season, doesn’t believe that Sunday’s clash will decide the destination of the title.

“In the Premier League, we have two really good teams with ambitions of winning the league – Manchester City and Chelsea,” Suarez told Liverpool’s website.

“But now we know we have a really good chance, especially if we win the game on Sunday.

“But in football you never know what can happen, because we could win the game but then the next week lose to Norwich. This is normal in football. We still have four more games [after Man City].”

Suarez described this season as the best of the 27-year-old’s career after avoiding controversy on the pitch and firing Liverpool into title contention.

“This has been the best year for me; for my performance, for myself, for my life,” Suarez added.

“But I don’t want to think about what we might be doing at the end of the season, we must focus on the next game.”
