Carlo Ancelotti rules himself out of the running to take over at Manchester United this summer
Carlo Ancelotti has ruled himself out of the running to take over at Manchester United this summer by insisting that he is happy at Real Madrid.
The Italian has been touted as one of the front-runners to take charge at Old Trafford after David Moyes was sacked by the Red Devils on Tuesday following a disastrous 10 months in charge.
I was disappointed for what happened to David Moyes but my place at the moment is here

However, although the former Chelsea boss has expressed his sympathy for Moyes after his sacking, the 54-year-old insists that he has no intention of leaving Los Blancos.
“This happens every year and I always say the same thing. I’m lucky to coach the best team in the world,” said Ancelotti.
“I respect Manchester United a lot. I was disappointed for what happened to David Moyes but my place at the moment is here.”
Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal is currently the bookmakers’ favourite to take over at Manchester United ahead of next season.
