The Belgium international was forced off inside 16 minutes of Chelsea’s second leg against PSG, with the Blues booking their place in the Champions League semi-finals thanks to a 2-0 win.
Hazard has been heavily linked with the Ligue 1 champions throughout the season despite Jose Mourinho remaining adamant that his best players are not for sale in the summer.
However, Belgium head coach Wilmots has not helped the increasing speculation by suggesting that Hazard and PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic would complement each other.
“It’s an opportunity to be taken into serious consideration if he wants to be part of the category of players who make the difference,” Wilmots is quoted as saying by the French media.
“It’s time to raise his level. Hazard and Ibrahimovic are two different players, but highly complementary.”
Hazard has scored 14 goals and made seven assists in 33 Premier League appearances this season.
