Chelsea transfers: Fernando Torres declares his desire to stay at Stamford Bridge until the end of his contract

Fernando Torres has declared his desire to stay at Chelsea until the end of his current contract.
The 30-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a move away from the west London club in recent months after another disappointing campaign.
I have tried to win everything with this club and hopefully the Premier League is the next one

Torres has managed just four Premier League goals in 23 game this season and has been touted as a possible target for a host of European clubs.
But the player has moved to distance himself from the reports linking him with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
“In the last month I have moved to Atletico [Madrid], Valencia, Inter [Milan] and Monaco,” Torres, whose contract expires in 2016, told the Independent.
“I have two more years left on my contract and I said on the first day that I have signed five years with Chelsea and I want to play five years with Chelsea.
“I have tried to win everything with this club and hopefully the Premier League is the next one.
“If we win the Premier League, we have the chance to play the Community Shield, that’s another one we don’t have.”
