Chelsea transfers: Romelu Lukaku's agent Christophe Henrotay confirms he has held talks with Daniel Levy
Tottenham Hotspur have been in talks to sign Romelu Lukaku, the Belgian striker’s agent has confirmed.
The 20-year-old’s future continues to be a source of relentless speculation amid reports Chelsea are ready to sell the Belgium international in the summer transfer window.

Lukaku, who spent last season at West Bromwich Albion, has scored scored 12 goals and made six assists in 24 Premier League appearances during a season-long loan at Everton this term.
Roberto Martinez has been linked with a move to sign Lukaku permanently in the summer, but the forward’s agent Christophe Henrotay claimed that he has already been in discussions with Spurs.
“I have had talks with Daniel Levy, but there is nothing agreed with Tottenham,” Henrotay is quoted as saying by Daily Mail.
“I am talking to different clubs, but it is true that there are not exactly 20 clubs who can afford Romelu.”
On Wednesday night, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, who sanctioned Lukaku’s loan move last summer, blasted the recent performances of his Blues strikers following a 3-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.
“I’m not happy with my strikers’ performances so I had to try things,” Mourinho said.
“And with Andre [Schurle] at least I know we have one more player to have the ball, one more player to associate with the other players, even though he’s not a striker.
“But football is not just about that. It’s also about scoring goals, getting behind, and that is for strikers. Real strikers. And I had to try.”
