Jamie Carragher: Man United will have to get used to sackings
Jamie Carragher warns Manchester United that they must get used to parting company with manager regularly

Jamie Carragher has warned Manchester United that they will have to “get used” to parting company with managers after the club sacked David Moyes.
The Scot was fired on Tuesday and just 10 months into his reign at Old Trafford, with the club languishing in seventh place in the Premier League.

The last time United sacked a manager was back in 1986, when they relieved Ron Atkinson of his duties – but former Liverpool defender Carragher feels that the Red Devils must be ready for the managerial merry-go-round.
“It’s probably the right decision,” Carragher told Sky Sports. “Something had to be changed with the results and performances.
“It’s a major overhaul for the club and something that they don’t normally have to go through.
“They’re doing the same thing that other clubs have to do now – and that’s something that they will have to get used to over the next few years.”
Carragher added: “Manchester United have been the dominant force for two decades now but it doesn’t go on forever, there’s always going to be a blip.
“They will come back, great clubs always come back as we’ve seen with Liverpool.”
