Juan Mata explains celebration with Man United goalkeeper David De Gea
Manchester United forward Juan Mata lifts the lid on his goal celebration with David De Gea during their 4-0 win at Newcastle

Juan Mata has revealed why he celebrated his first goal with David De Gea as Manchester United were 4-0 winners at Newcastle United on Saturday.
The Spain international ran to his compatriot, who was on the bench for the trip to St James’ Park, after curling a delightful free-kick past Magpies goalkeeper Robbie Elliott.
Mata doubled the Red Devils’s lead before Javier Hernandez and Adnan Januzaj polished off the victory which lifts David Moyes’s side up to sixth place in the table.
And the £37.1m January signing revealed he had been praticising set-pieces with De Gea on Friday in preparation for United’s clash against Newcastle.
“I scored and I wish the streak will go on until the end of the season,” Mata wrote in his blog.
“As I said after the game, I have a very good understanding with my team-mates and I was also very happy with Chicha and Adnan’s goals.
He continued: “You may wonder about my celebration with De Gea. The reason is that we had been practising free-kicks the day before and David said I was going to score against Newcastle… because that day I was misfiring all my shots! And so it happened.”
Mata has scored three goals and made three assists in 11 appearances for United since his move from Chelsea in January.
