Kevin Kilbane: Arsene Wenger looked ‘dejected’ after Arsenal loss
Former Everton winger Kevin Kilbane felt Arsenal lacked energy in a 3-0 loss to the Toffees at Goodison Park on Sunday
Kevin Kilbane believes Everton exploited Arsenal’s lack of energy in their 3-0 win at Goodison Park on Sunday.
The Gunners’s cushion in fourth spot was cut to a point after goals from Romelu Lukaku and Steven Naismith, whilst Mikel Arteta put the ball into his own net in the second half.
He looked dejected saying things like, ‘we did look like we lacked fight’ and ‘we didn’t look up for it’

Everton can move above the north London side, who have qualified for the Champions League in 16 successive seasons, if the Toffees win their game in hand.
And former Everton winger Kilbane described Wenger as a “dejected” figure in his post-match media conference on Sunday.
“Arsenal were lacking real legs and energy throughout the team and that is where Everton exploited them,” Kilbane told Newstalk.
The former Republic of Ireland international continued: “I sat in on his press conference after the game and he was dejected. He couldn’t really give any answers.
“I thought Arsenal didn’t have any answers for the way Everton approached the game.
“He looked dejected saying things like, ‘we did look like we lacked fight’ and ‘we didn’t look up for it’.
“It was interesting for him to say stuff like that because you start to question your players and their commitment.”
