Luis Suarez has got to levels of Thierry Henry, claims Liverpool legend
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher believes Reds star Luis Suárez is the best striker in the world after scoring 30 league goals

Luis Suarez has got to the levels of Premier League greats Thierry Henry and Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Jamie Carragher.
The Uruguay international has scored 30 goals in 30 Premier League games for Liverpool this season, helping to fire Brendan Rodgers’s men to the top of the table.
At this moment, he is the best striker on the planet

Suarez has already equalled Henry’s best-ever tally for a Premier League season, whilst the 27-year-old needs one more strike to equal Ronaldo’s best effort.
And Carragher ranks the former Ajax man as the best striker in the world thanks to his mental toughness – and ability to score goals from all areas of the pitch.
“I said Luis ‘needed to give Liverpool one more year’ and I’m delighted he did as he has got to the levels of Thierry Henry and Cristiano Ronaldo, the two I rate as the Premier League’s best ever players in terms of ability,” Carragher wrote in his Daily Mail column.
“At this moment, he is the best striker on the planet. What separates him is the mental toughness that accompanies his ability; he wants to train every single day and he is the one who spends the least time in with the medical department.
“Earlier in the season, I found it difficult to split him and Sergio Aguero, but Suarez has moved way ahead in that race and the fact he is leading the race for the Golden Boot in the era of Ronaldo and Lionel Messi speaks volumes.”
