Man United transfers: ‘Robin van Persie would stay for Louis Van Gaal’
Man United transfers: Pierre van Hoojidonk believes Robin van Persie would like to work with Dutch coach Louis van Gaal

Robin van Persie would stay at Manchester United if Louis van Gaal was to take over from David Moyes, according to Pierre van Hoojidonk.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a move away from the defending Premier League champions after a disappointing first season under Sir Alex Ferguson’s successor.

United are currently in seventh place ahead of their trip to Everton and trail fourth-placed Arsenal by 10 points, with the Gunners kicking off before the Red Devils on Sunday.
Netherlands head coach Van Gaal has been heavily linked with the Tottenham Hotspur job, with the former Barcelona man to step down from his Dutch post after the World Cup.
And former Nottingham Forest striker Van Hoojidonk feels Van Persie would be happy to stay at Old Trafford if his national coach takes over.
Van Hoojidonk told The Mirror: “Let me tell you one thing, if Van Gaal becomes manager of Manchester United, Van Persie will stay.
“Louis will bring in a number of top players and he will create a whole new team for United, which we can see, is necessary.”
Van Persie scored 26 Premier League goals as the Red Devils helped his side win the top-flight crown.
