The Northern Irishman is still looking to make amends for his final-round meltdown at the 2011 Masters and has a good chance of winning the first Major of the year.

Jason Day looks to be exceptional value at odds of 16/1. Two wins and six runner-up spots have seen him pocket almost $16m in prize money Stateside but he’s yet to break into the Majors’ club. Day finished T2 and third in his last two US Masters (he withdrew in 2012).

Elsewhere, defending US Open champion Justin Rose is worth taking note of at a very tempting 28/1. The Englishman finished 11, eighth and 25th at Augusta in the last three years.

Sergio Garcia, who debuted as an amateur when Jose Maria Olazabal became the last European winner in 1999, is priced at 22/1.

This year’s tournament at Augusta, as is the case with every Masters, is less wide open than any of the other Majors.

And to celebrate the first Major of the year, Paddy Power are offering new customers double the odds on any player to win the US Masters.

Just take the normal price on any player through this link to win the 2014 US Masters and if he wins (or is placed in first six for each way bets), you will receive double the odds.
