Mourinho gives latest Chelsea injury update ahead of Stoke clash
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho reveals Samuel Eto'o won't be fit to face Stoke City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Samuel Eto’o will not be fit for Chelsea’s clash against Stoke City on Saturday.
The Cameroon international was missed in midweek as Mourinho fielded midfielder Andre Schurrle in a lone striker role ahead of Fernando Torres in the 3-1 Champions League loss at Paris Saint-Germain.
I cannot say a match or a date where I expect him [Eto’o] to be back

Eto’o hasn’t featured for the Blues since being forced off with a hamstring problem after scoring the opening goal in the 6-0 victory over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
Asked when the 33-year-old would be available for selection, Mourinho said: “I don’t expect [Eto’o to be back]. For the season yes [he will be back], but I cannot say a match or a date where I expect him to be back.”
Mourinho also revealed that John Obi Mikel will also be absent for the Potters clash, whilst Marco van Ginkel is still recovering from his knee injury.
“Mikel is injured,” he said. “Marco van Ginkel keeps [working] on his way back and playing minutes with Under-21s.”
However, there was some good news for the Blues after Mourinho confirmed that veteran left-back Ashley Cole is back in his Blues squad for the Stamford Bridge clash.
“Cole is back in the squad. Nothing else I think,” Mourinho added.
