Real Madrid put on an impressive defensive display to beat Bayern Munich 1-0 and take a slender advantage heading into the return leg of their Champions League semi-final.
Karim Benzema scored against the run of play in the 19th minute as Madrid extended their unbeaten home record in the competition to 18 games.
