Brendan Rodgers has revealed that Jose Enrique is his only absentee ahead of their trip to West Ham United at Upton Park on Sunday.

Enrique hasn’t featured for the Reds due to a knee injury since a 29-minute cameo in a 4-0 victory over Fulham at Anfield last November.

The priority now is getting him fully fit and getting him ready for next season

The Spaniard has travelled to the United States in a bid to resolve the injury but Rodgers announced that Enrique is likely to miss the rest of the campaign.

“The likelihood is he will miss from now until the end of the season,” said Rodgers.

“The priority now is getting him fully fit and getting him ready for next season.”

On any other injuries, Rodgers added: “We’ve got another day or go to go before the game and there is no new injuries.”

With almost a fully fit squad to choose from, Rodgers revealed that competition for places is ensuring intense training sessions at Liverpool’s training ground.

“As I said the players are at a really high level in training and they’re playing how they’re training,” Rodgers added.

“If you look at the quality in the games, you look at the determination in the games, that’s all mirrored in training.

“Really strong focus, composure and that’s what you want in a group. Really motivated to play well and win.”
