Sherwood delivers Tottenham injury update on Lamela and Capoue
Erik Lamela and Etienne Capoue are unlikely to play for Tottenham again this season, says Tim Sherwood

Tim Sherwood has revealed that neither Erik Lamela or Etienne Capoue are likely to play again for Tottenham this season.
Club-record signing Lamela is currently sidelined with a back injury, while midfielder Capoue has been out of action with an ankle problem.

And the Tottenham boss conceded that the pair don’t look likely to feature before the end of the current campaign.
“Lamela is about and he is making progress,” Sherwood said ahead of Spurs’ trip to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
“He is probably not going to play this season. He has been out a very long time and is going to need a pre-season before he can play.
“I am not sure how far Capoue is away but it is very doubtful whether he will play between now and the end of the season.”
Lamela has made just three Premier League starts for Spurs since arriving from Roma in the summer, while Capoue has made 12 top-flight appearances.
