Sherwood gives latest Tottenham injury update ahead of West Brom trip
Midfielder Sandro is a doubt for Tottenham's trip to West Bromwich Albion due to a calf injury

Sandro is an injury doubt for Tottenham’s trip to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, manager Tim Sherwood has confirmed.
Sherwood revealed that the 25-year-old midfielder picked up a calf problem during training this week and may be forced to sit out the Premier League clash at The Hawthorns.
The Spurs boss also confirmed that striker Roberto Soldado remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, despite the Spaniard having returned to training this week.
“He’s done well to get back to training, but it’s too soon,” Sherwood said of Soldado.
“You can’t rush back a hamstring injury for fear that it will go again, so we’ll be cautious with him.”
Mousa Dembele (hip) is also a doubt for Saturday’s clash, while Jan Vertonghen (ankle), Michael Dawson (hamstring), Kyle Walker (pelvis), Etienne Capoue (ankle) and Erik Lamela (back) all remain sidelined.
Spurs head into Saturday’s clash sixth in the Premier League table and five points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.
