Lewis Holtby has reiterated that he wants to fulfil his Tottenham Hotspur contract.

The 23-year-old has scored once and made three assists in 10 Premier League appearances following a loan move to Fulham from Spurs in the January transfer window.

I loved playing for Tottenham and I would like to fulfil my contract there

The former Schalke 04 made the switch from north to west London in a bid to secure his place in Joachim Low’s squad for this summer’s World Cup.

And Holtby is expecting to return to Tottenham after the summer as he aims to make an impression at White Hart Lane following his £1.5m move in January 2013.

“There is little sense in talking about other clubs since I have a long-term contract at Tottenham,” Holtby told Goal.com.

“The status quo is that I will go back to Spurs after the summer holidays. I can’t tell you what is going to happen until then. My agent takes care of everything and as far as I know his mobile is always turned on.

“I loved playing for Tottenham and I would like to fulfil my contract there. But at first it is important to avoid relegation with Fulham.”
