Wenger gives latest Arsenal injury update ahead of Hull trip
Kieran Gibbs is ruled out of Arsenal's trip to Hull City due to injury but Mesut Ozil is set to return

Kieran Gibbs has been ruled out of Arsenal’s trip to Hull City on Sunday due to injury, Arsene Wenger has confirmed.
The left-back sat out Tuesday’s victory over West Ham United and Wenger revealed that the England international will not make the trip to the KC Stadium.

However, there was good news on the injury front for the north London club after the Frenchman said that Mesut Ozil is in contention to feature against Steve Bruce’s Tigers.
Ozil has not played since picking up a hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich last month but returned to training this week.
“Kieran Gibbs will be out, Nacho Monreal is possibly available,” said Wenger. “Mesut Ozil could be available, I will see that on Friday and Saturday.
“It’s good to have Mesut back, he gives you opportunities to score, but we have to test him physically Friday.”
Wenger, whose side remained fourth in the table on Wednesday night after Crystal Palace sealed a surprise 3-2 win over Everton at Goodison Park, is wary of the threat posed by Hull ahead of the clash.
“Hull have had a remarkable season and they have done well at home,” he said. “Steve Bruce is one of the remarkable managers of the season.”
