Arsenal 1 West Brom 0: Olivier Giroud admits his "relief" after the Gunners secured a fourth-place finish
Olivier Giroud admitted his “relief” for Arsenal after the Gunners celebrated qualification for next season’s Champions League by beating West Bromwich Albion.
Giroud netted the only goal in the 14th minute at Emirates Stadium, when the French striker rose in front of marker Craig Dawson to head home Santi Cazorla’s corner.

The result moved Arsenal onto 76 points and seven clear of fifth-placed Everton heading into the final game of the season.
And Giroud has called on Arsene Wenger’s men to keep their focus ahead of the FA Cup final against Hull City at Wembley later this month.
“We feel relieved because we had to fight until the end of the season [to claim fourth spot],” said Giroud.
“We have a really exciting final game [in the FA Cup] so we have to keep our focus.
“We have a good understanding on the pitch and now we know each other really well. Hopefully it will be even better next year.”
