Arsenal transfers: Wenger promises ‘busy’ summer for Gunners
Arsenal transfers: Arsene Wenger tells fans to expect a "busy" summer of activity at the north London club

Arsene Wenger has reassured Arsenal fans that he is planning a “busy” summer of transfer activity for the north London club.
The Gunners have been linked with a host of players in recent months, including the likes of Schalke starlet Julian Draxler and ex-Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.
And although Wenger is adamant that Arsenal will be active in the forthcoming transfer window, the Frenchman does not believe that his squad is in need of a major overhaul.
We want to add something that makes us even stronger
Arsene Wenger
“At the moment I have people around me who start to look,” said Wenger.
“It will be busy, but the main thing for us will be to keep the stability because we feel we are close.
“We want to add something that makes us even stronger, but number-wise it will not be massive.
“From my experience the World Cup years have always been very quiet until the end of the World Cup, with no players reachable.
“Everybody is focused in the country on their national team and there is not a lot happening, people are away so I believe this year again you will have to wait until 15 July to start going.”
