Brendan Rodgers doing a very good job at Liverpool, says Luis Garcia

Liverpool legend Luis Garcia hails Brendan Rodgers's impact at the Merseyside outfit

Brendan Rodgers is doing a very good job at Liverpool, according to Luis Garcia.

The Reds can return to the top of the Premier League if Liverpool beat Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday night.

And Garcia praised the attractive football that Rodgers’s side have played throughout the Premier League campaign.

“I think he has built a strong team and they have been consistent all season -the whole year,” Garcia told Liverpool’s website.

“I think everybody is enjoying the way they are playing, so he is doing a very good job.”
Garcia was part of the Liverpool side that won the Champions League in 2005 before lifting the FA Cup a season later.

And the former Spain forward also revealed that he still follows his former employers closely.

“Yes, of course. When you spend good years at a club, it makes you care about the club and the way they treat you,” Garcia added.

“The three years I spent here and what happened after that with all the people supporting me from far away made me love the club.

“When the Spanish players came to Liverpool in 2004, the club treated us like a family and it made us feel very special.”
