Chelsea 0 Norwich 0: Jose Mourinho says the Blues "tried everything" against the Canaries at Stamford Bridge
Jose Mourinho admitted Chelsea “tried everything” after watching his side be held to a goalless draw by battling Norwich City in their final home game of the season.
The best chances fell to the Blues at Stamford Bridge, with John Terry going close with a header and Andre Schurrle hitting the post in the first half.
We tried everything but at the end of the day we knew that we had no chance to be champions

Norwich’s Martin Olsson, meanwhile, had a strong penalty appeal turned down early on in west London.
The draw means Chelsea are a point behind leaders Manchester City and second-placed Liverpool, having played a game more than the top two.
However, the point also guaranteed a top-three finish and a place in the group stage of next season’s Champions League.
“It was quite a day,” said Mourinho. “We had one team that needed three points to have a chance to survive – but didn’t play to win and a team that needed a point to finish third and guarantee a Champions League group stage place that played to win.
“We tried everything but at the end of the day we knew that we had no chance to be champions and that we needed one point to be in the group phase of the Champions League.
“In the first half we were not good enough, in the second half we tried our best but couldn’t do it.”
