David Luiz: All the Chelsea players were crying, not just John Terry
Chelsea centre-half David Luiz claims all the Blues players were crying after a 3-1 loss to Atletico Madrid

David Luiz insists all the Chelsea players were crying – not just John Terry – after the Blues failed to reach the Champions League final.
The Blues skipper became emotional at the final whistle after Atletico Madrid were 3-1 winners in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

However, Brazil international Luiz, who was part of the Chelsea side that won the European Cup in Munich in 2012, insisted that all the Blues squad were left devastated by the loss.
“Everyone is crying,” Luiz is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
“Nobody likes to lose a Champions League semi-final, not just John.
“We have to remember we are lucky people who have the best job in the world. We have to respect that people at home do not have the same life as us.”
Luiz added that the Chelsea players gave everything in their bid to reach the Champions League final.
“I do my job every day,” Luiz added.
“We gave everything. It is not a s*** season apart from the result when you don’t have a trophy.
“If there were many poor games, when you didn’t play, didn’t run, didn’t give your best then fine. But we gave our best in many, many games like Wednesday, but sometimes possible to win, sometimes not.
“Next season there is a plan. We have many, many fantastic players and everyone wants to win trophies because it is normal when you sit at home on the sofa and watch television to see Chelsea fighting for trophies.”
