James Wilson became the first player to score two goals or more on his Manchester United debut since Wayne Rooney after firing the Red Devils to a 3-1 win against Hull City.

The 18-year-old scored either side of half-time on a night which saw Nemanja Vidic play his final game at Old Trafford, with Robin van Persie adding a late third for the home side.

Here is a selection of the best Twitter reaction from the professionals, past and present, in chronological order.
