I’m fine! Man City striker Sergio Aguero tweets injury update
Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero tweets that he is fine after coming off in the first half at Goodison Park
Sergio Aguero insists he is fine after the Manchester City striker was substituted due to injury during his side’s 3-2 win at Goodison Park.
The Argentina international collected Yaya Toure’s well-timed pass to level for the Citizens after Ross Barkley had put Everton into the lead.
However, the 25-year-old had to be replaced moments after scoring his 17th Premier League goal of the season with groin and hamstring injuries.
But Aguero, who has endured an injury-hit campaign ahead of the World Cup, reassured Citizens supporters that he isn’t suffering from a serious injury.
Thank you for your concern. I left just as a precaution. Fortunately I'm fine, happy for the goal, the win and keeping our dream alive.
