Jens Lehmann believes that Arsenal need to win the FA Cup this season to rebuild their reputation.

The Gunners take on Hull City at Wembley next weekend looking to win a major trophy for the first time since 2005.

The brand of Arsenal has suffered a little bit recently

And former Arsenal goalkeeper Lehmann feels that the north London side need to win silverware to rebuild their global image.

“I travel a lot now, all round the world – and Arsenal do not really get talked about,” Lehmann told the Daily Mirror.

“It is all Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool. Arsenal? Hardly at all. It is not a good feeling.

“That is why is important for them to beat Hull at Wembley. If they win, it will give the whole club a boost.

“The brand of Arsenal has suffered a little bit recently. You win the FA Cup and that can change it.”
