Liverpool transfers: Luis Suarez rules out summer exit
Liverpool transfers: Luis Suárez commits his future to the Merseyside club by insisting he is "very happy" at Anfield
Luis Suarez has reiterated his commitment to Liverpool, insisting that he is “very happy” at the Anfield club.
The Uruguay forward has already helped the Reds secure their place in the group stage of next season’s Champions League, with the Merseyside club currently two points clear at the top of the Premier League.
I’m very happy here and my family is happy here
Suarez, who publicly asked to leave Liverpool last summer before penning a new long-term contract with the club in December 2013, has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent weeks.
But the 27-year-old has moved to reassure Liverpool fans that he has no intention of quitting Anfield this summer.
“Don’t worry, nothing is going to happen to me,” Suarez told Uruguayan television channel Canal 10.
“I’m very happy here and my family is happy here.
“If we could win the Premier League and bring the trophy home it would be incredible – a dream come true.
PFA player of the year Suarez has scored 30 Premier League goals in 31 games for Brendan Rodgers’ side this season.
