Lukas Podolski: Arsenal’s duty to beat West Brom for Gunners fans

Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski targets three points against West Bromwich Albion for the Gunners fans

Lukas Podolski says that it is Arsenal’s duty to beat West Bromwich Albion to give the Gunners supporters plenty to cheer in the final game at The Emirates this season.

The north London side can seal fourth spot ahead of Everton, who face Manchester City on Saturday, if Arsene Wenger’s men beat West Brom on Sunday.

And Podolskli, who has scored four goals in his last three Premier League games, vowed that the Gunners would end their home campaign on a positive note.

Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that Podolski is happy to play on the left wing for Arsenal.

“He is happy to play where he plays,” said Wenger. “He has over 100 caps with Germany and does not have one cap with Germany in the middle. Over 100 caps on the left.

“You cannot say it is not his job – he is happy there. He made a great international career there.”
