Man United transfers: Red Devils handed Thomas Müller boost
Man United transfers: Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge hints that Thomas Müller could leave the club this summer
Manchester United have been given a boost in their pursuit of Thomas Müller after Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge hinted that the attacker could be allowed to leave the club this summer.
The 24-year-old has been touted as a possible target for the Red Devils in recent days amid speculation that Louis van Gaal is set to take over as manager of the Old Trafford side ahead of next season.
If a player does not feel well at Bayern Munich, he should come to my office
And Rummenigge has appeared to suggest that Müller, who is under contract until 2017, could leave the Allianz Arena in the summer.
“Müller’s situation? If a player does not feel well at Bayern Munich, he should come to my office,” Rummenigge told Bild.
“We will have to talk about things like that.”
Müller has scored 13 goals and made 10 assists in 30 Bundesliga appearances so far this season.
