Oscar explains absence from Chelsea’s crunch clashes
Oscar reveals that a hip injury is behind his continued absence from the Chelsea side

Oscar has revealed that a hip injury is keeping him out of action after the Chelsea midfielder sat out Wednesday’s Champions League defeat by Atletico Madrid.
The Brazilian has not featured for the Blues since playing an hour in the 2-1 defeat by Sunderland earlier this month and missed last weekend’s win at Liverpool.

And the 22-year-old admits that he is trying not to aggravate the injury in the build-up to this summer’s World Cup.
“I’m not playing because I felt a pain due to an injury to my hip, so, in the last game against Liverpool, I was not called on,” Oscar told Globo.
“I warmed up [against Atletico Madrid] but Mourinho knew that I could hardly play. Maybe I will not play the next game because I could suffer a more serious injury to my hip and he knows it.
“We’re aiming to try and play me in the final clash of the Premier League but I have to take care for the World Cup.”
