Tim Sherwood: Tottenham know who they want in charge
Tim Sherwood says the Tottenham hierarchy already know who they want to be in charge of the club next season

Tim Sherwood believes that the Tottenham Hotspur hierarchy already know who they want to be in charge of the club next season.
Speculation over Sherwood’s future at the north London club has been rife in recent weeks, despite the 45-year-old having signed a contract with Spurs until the end of next season.

Louis van Gaal and Frank de Boer are among the names to have been touted as potential candidates to take over at White Hart Lane.
And Sherwood feels that the final two games of the season should not affect the decision about who should take over.
“It should not make a difference,” Sherwood said. “If we are relying on the last two games to decide the future of this club then it could be decided on a 30-yard shot or a referee’s decision.
“The people upstairs will know who they want to run this club and the last two games should not make a difference.”
Tottenham travel to West Ham in their penultimate Premier League game of the season on Saturday.
