Arsenal transfers: Mario Balotelli's agent wants Barbara Berlusconi to get in touch after she claimed striker is "not irreplaceable"
Mario Balotelli’s agent has urged AC Milan managing director Barbara Berlusconi to get in touch if she feels the Italy striker is “not irreplaceable” at San Siro.
The director suggested that the former Manchester City forward is not indispensable last week, fuelling speculation that the 23-year-old could join Arsenal this summer.
If he is replaceable, then call me and we will find a solution, as I am used to doing
Balotelli’s representative Mino Raiola has been flirting with a host of potential suitors since the season finished, although his cause hasn’t been helped by the striker’s poor World Cup.
Whilst Raiola appreciated Adriano Galliani’s recent statement which underlined Milan’s desire to keep Balotelli, the agent wants Berlusconi to get in touch if she has doubts about his client’s importance to the club.
“Mario is where they love him,” Raiola has told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“He appreciates the words from Galliani, but now I want to respond to even those from Barbara Berlusconi.
“If he is replaceable, then call me and we will find a solution, as I am used to doing.
“I recall that Mario has other important offers. He is at Milan for his heart, her I do not know about.”
Balotelli scored 14 goals and made five assists in 30 Serie A appearances last season.
