Torino will do everything possible to keep hold of Alessio Cerci this summer, insists the club’s president.

The Italy international has been heavily linked with Premier League trio Arsenal, Everton and Manchester United, as well as Bundesliga runners-up Borussia Dortmund in recent weeks.

Cerci enjoyed a prolific season for Torino as he helped the northern Italian club book their spot in the Europa League, scoring 13 goals and making 10 assists in 37 appearances.

But Torino president Urbano Cairo underlined the Turin outift’s desire to keep the 26-year-old at the Serie A club despite interest from the Premier League.

“I have not spoken with him, so I do not know what his intention is,” Cairo told La Stampa.

“I expect a good indication of loyalty from him. Of course, I have not received any offers.

“I will do anything to keep him here.”

Cerci played a bit-part role in Italy’s doomed World Cup campaign, coming on as a substitute as Cesare Prandelli’s side suffered a 1-0 loss to Uruguay in their final Group D game.
