Chelsea transfers: Borussia Dortmund insist they have received no offers for Blues target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Borussia Dortmund insist there have been no offers for Chelsea target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Dortmund forward has been linked with a move to the Blues and Newcastle United in recent months after impressing at the Bundesliga runners-up last term.

Aubameyang, who moved to Dortmund from Saint-Etienne last summer, scored 16 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s men in his first season at the German club.

But Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc rubbished reports of any bids for the Gabon international.

“Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a player of Borussia Dortmund. We have received nothing in this respect,” Zorc told BILD.

Last week, Aubameyang’s agent claimed that the forward would be open to a return to Serie A in the future.

“[Walter] Sabatini [the sporting director of Roma] likes him,” Damiani told Sky Italia.

“But it is very difficult to take him away from Dortmund as he has long contract with the club.”
